Migrate distribution list to Office 365 Groups
Office 365 Distribution List is basically a list of email addresses. When you want to send an email to everyone in your group at once, you can type the email address of the distribution list instead of each user's email address. Your email will then be sent to all the email addresses in the distribution list. Distribution Groups is another name for distribution lists.
